Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her most famous role was as Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances include Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting while attending the Preparatory School. At the end of the 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. Her studies in theatre was at Northwestern University. A semester was completed in the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint in Chicago theater before transitioning to film and TV roles. In 1992 Anna landed her first big part in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as a guest star in a few TV shows and films including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue up to the end of 1990's, when she was cast in a role that she reprised as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. Skyler was her role as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio show that premiered in 2022. The drama of Breaking Bad is determined by the love story that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The deterioration of this relationship is akin to Walter White's final days.
